Blandopoda - II by Sanrou Blandopoda - II by Sanrou

THE BIGGEST blandoboda is here!

   Magnopelus gampsopi AN.

Magnopelus lives in the lower parts of the Tiamat Mountains, close to the Eden Valley. They feed on a thick and abundant tipe of “grass” that that grows on rocks and can be found only at high altitudes. Living in herds up to 300 individuals, Magnopelus migrates from north to South and vice-versa along the Tiamat Mountais all their life in a feeding route. They don’t jump as much as the other blandobodas, but their size and the thick horned head works as compensation to protect them from predators.

   Magnopelus gampsopi (kruptos) AN.

A subspecies of the Magnopelus gampsopi, M. kruptos is a critter in disguise: the M. kruptos adults looks exactly like the young M. gampsopi, that way they are protected within the large herds (in fact, usually there are more kruptos in a gampsopi herd than the gampsopi themselves). The kruptos can (theoretically) reproduce with the M. gampsopi, but even living with the bigger cousin, there are no indications that it happens,

*Sorry for taking so long to update the descriptions of the others creatures. Working on it!

:-? (Confused)  I have no idea what you meant by "murdering the english language," but there are no hard feelings. :D (Big Grin)  Plus, I love how you designed tho magnopelus' eyes and gate/locomotion. In fact, I love it when people come up with unique gates and locomotion (as well as physical anatomy such as skin, bones, muscle, and internal organs) when making their own aliens/creatures and/or animals based on speculative evolution (that would also include the speculations on how extinct animals such as the famous dinosaurs moved about when they were alive).

"...works as compensation to protect them from predators." Given a time, can we see these predators?
