Nea contest - Cerrado version

I am a pioneer!
two quick sketches of Nean creatures for Hyrotrioskjan:

Maned wolf
What are they?: Large omnivorous canines that lives in the cerrado (Brazilian savanna).
Why?: Variable diet (meat and vegetables); grassland dwellers; helps with the germination of plants through defecating seeds.
On Nea: Adopted a more herbivorous diet; Longer neck to look out for predators; Larger ears for hearing and cooling; frontal claws for digging roots.

Chaunus veredas
What are they?: Frogs that live in the cerrado.
Why?: Sturdy animals, they can resist arid seasons by hidding on the ground and leaving when necessary; Can eat a lot of things; Frogs are usually good survivors.
On Nea: Behave like alligators; More aquatic presence; Tail; Predate large insects (they exist on Nea, right...?)
